Istvan Fabian, the president of the University of Debrecen Development Foundation Board and Trustees signed
a cooperation agreement with Laszlo Patay, a board member of the EON
Electrical Supplier Co. on Thursday, November 4, 2010.
Under the contract, the utility company will support an electrical engineering professor for three years in relation of training students. The electrical engineering training is 10 years old at the University of Debrecen.
After signing the contract they held a ceremonial session held on the occasion of the anniversary at the Faculty of Science and Technology. Istvan Fabian, Rector and Jozsef Palinkas, the president of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences also attended the ceremony.
