The First Lady of the United States serves as a public political extension of her husband the President of the United States. But who is she really? By comparing and contrasting the lives of five First Ladies, namely Martha Washington, Mary Lincoln, Jackie Kennedy, Pat Nixon and Michelle Obama, the audience will have an opportunity to examine the personal worth and historical significance of the First Lady.
